It also includes examples of good practice multicultural communications. This guide focuses on multicultural communities, but its principles can help everyone. The Young People’s Exposure to War and Conflict in Media: A Guide for Schools and Community Members, by QPASTT, is primarily designed for teacher and community members who are caring for, or working with, children and young people who are survivors of refugee trauma, including intergenerational trauma. It looks at the impact of media coverage, trauma responses in children and young people, as well as tips for talking to them about war and conflict. 
The purpose of this guide is to provide information to Australian Mental Health services, practitioners, Primary Health Networks and other on what good practice looks like in working effectively with people from CALD backgrounds. It is intended to provide practical advice and guidance for mental health service providers.  This guide was developed by the Embrace Project and published in August 2020
